Keto Popcorn

When switching to Keto, popcorn was one of the snack foods  I really struggled without! 

My family loves to enjoy fresh popped on movie night.

Going without it was rough!

I was so used to thinking of plain no butter no salt popcorn as a healthy snack,

I was heartbroken that it's not Keto.  So...

I created an amazing substitute!

Movie night just kicked up a notch!!

Keto "Popcorn" 

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup or 2 egg whites

  • 1/4tsp xanthum gum

  • 1/4 cup frozen Shreaded mozzarella (will turn to mush if not frozen)

  • 6 drops butter popcorn flavor extract 

Directions

  1. Partially whip egg whites

  2. Add xanthum gum and flavour

  3. Whip to stiff peaks

  4. Grind the frozen cheese

  5. Gently fold cheese into egg mixture

  6. Plsce mixture in piping bag.

  7. Make small popcorn shapes

  8. Bake at 200 20-30min
